Food justice is suppose to be an important part of our rural community justice. Our childhood showed us how this type of justice isn't the same in all communities.
Today, it's no different. In order for there to be FAIR food justice for all, certain things must change. With your help, we must help to make these changes.

This is why we Created CarJAM. We do not want others to have to do without, as we did growing-up. Not just food, but good heathy foods. Children need these types of food to grow up healthier & stromger.
How can this be accomplished? It's really up to their parents and/or grandparents. Although, we provide them with Info on nutritional facts and healthy choices. Plus, personal training if they want or need it. We work directly with the churches to help provide these service.
LOCAL CHURCHES
1ST, we contact a rural church. We ask them if we may help feed those in need in their community. Of course, they say " YES ".
NEXT, we ask them to find and contact these families. These families are ask about their situations.
Once those most in need are found, they are placed on a list. This list is reviewed by the churc

NEXT, we ask them to find and contact these families. These families are ask about their situations.
Once those most in need are found, they are placed on a list. This list is reviewed by the church decans or board members. They decide who should be the next in line to receive CarJAM's food benefits.
At this point, the church contacts us, CarJAM Generations Trust. Along with the church, we send these families directions on how we plan to help feed their family.
If needed, we help the church to provide transportation so they can receive their food.

What Do We Use Your Donated funds for? We incentivize the stores. In order to help encourage the store to Donate their Food Only gift cards, we make them this offer...
For every Food Only gift card CarJAM buys, they Donate one of their Food Only gift cards of equal value to our CarJAM Generations Trust.
